The tracks stretch 1.2 kilometres through a hall maintained at a constant minus four degrees. The course is gently rolling with two classic tracks and a skate lane, making it accessible for both beginners and experienced skiers. Ski rental is available right on site, so there's no need to bring your own equipment. The biathlon is the activity that tends to get the most laughs — here, experience matters far less than nerves of steel.

The concept is simple: ski a lap on the track, stop at the shooting range and try to hit the targets with your pulse pounding in your ears. The activity works just as well for five people as for fifty. We divide you into teams and run a tournament where every miss means penalty laps. The competitive element creates energy, but the atmosphere is always relaxed. Many companies combine the biathlon with a shorter ski on the tracks beforehand, so everyone has time to warm up and find their balance on the skis.

Do we need to bring our own ski equipment?
No, ski rental is available right next to Skidome. You can hire everything from skis and poles to boots. The only thing we recommend bringing is workout clothes and a thin hat.
How cold is it inside Skidome?
The hall maintains a constant temperature of minus four degrees Celsius all year round. It sounds cold, but once you're moving on the track it quickly becomes comfortable. Most conference groups forget about the cold after the first lap.
How long does an activity session at Skidome take?
The session length is tailored to your group's size and schedule – shorter sessions also work well as a break in the middle of a conference day.
Can beginners take part in the biathlon?
Absolutely. The biathlon requires no prior experience of either skiing or shooting. The staff give a brief introduction, and from there it's more about concentration than technique. It's often the beginners who surprise everyone the most.
How many people can participate at the same time?
Skidome works for groups of five people up to larger conference parties. For very large groups, we divide you into rounds so that everyone has plenty of space on the track and at the shooting range without it feeling crowded.
